Minor L. Helm, Jr. joined the firm in February, 1998. Prior to joining the firm, Minor was a member, partner and shareholder for 37 years of the Waco law firm, which through various name changes, became known as Sleeper, Johnston & Helm, P.C. until the firm ceased operation. Minor received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1959 and a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, in 1961 from the University of Texas. He was Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has been an officer and director of the Waco-McLennan County Bar Association and was a Council Member of the Real Estate Probate and Trust Law Section of the State Bar of Texas serving as Chairman during 1977 and 1978. He was a lecturer at Baylor Law School from 1965 through 1982 and has served as a member of the Commercial Panel of the American Arbitration Association. His primary areas of practice include Labor and Employment Law, Litigation in State and Federal Courts, Real Estate and Probate Law and Business and Commercial Matters.
