SETH C. HOWTON
Seth was born and raised in Waco. His practice focuses on litigation and personal injury matters. Prior to joining the firm full time, Seth served as a judicial law clerk in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas for the Honorable Chief Judge Amos Mazzant III. During his time as a law clerk, he saw every step of the litigation process from the judicial side, gaining the unique experience and valuable insight into what makes a winning legal argument.
Seth received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University in 2021, graduating summa cum laude and joining the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society. During his time as an undergraduate at Baylor, Seth studied theatre and philosophy. As an aspiring attorney, Seth attended Baylor University School of Law. While there he joined the Baylor Law Review, serving as an Executive Editor. In his final year of law school, the Law Review published Seth’s article focusing on the interplay between direct and vicarious liability theories in negligence law. Additionally, Seth began working at Pakis as a summer law clerk after his first year of law school. He stayed with the firm as a part time law clerk throughout his time in law school.
When he is not working, Seth enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys attending Baylor sporting events whenever he has free time. Seth is a proud member of First Woodway Baptist Church.
